New York has been treating me exceptionally well since I got here at the beginning of the month, spoiling me with perfect spring weather that feels more like summer!

Hindu temples are some of the most colorful temples we’ve ever seen, practically dripping in statues of Hindu gods – both human and animal.

Elephants play an important role in Hindu processions, and in Hampi we got to meet one of the rare temple elephants – Lakshmi, who has been blessing pilgrims for over 25 years.

It was just an average day in Europe. There we were, ‘speeding’ along the Autobahn in our rented Smart car during the hour and a half journey from Innsbruck, Austria back to our housesit in the Bavarian mountains. One of our favorite things to do is watching the sunset on the beach. And this particular beach, Playa Pelada, is an excellent sunset spot!
