As my time here in New York is coming to an end, I have been busy exploring parts of the city I haven’t been to yet – one of them is the Bronx, which I finally visited (twice!).

We’ve seen warning signs for bears, sloths, even fleeing people on the road…today we saw one for a smaller, slower creature…so we went on a hunt for our favorite little reptile.
We spent a few days in Sihanoukville last week and truly felt like we were on vacation! The main reason for this was our excellent hotel, the Beach Club Resort.
We arrived in Cambodia last weekend and spent our first few days in the town of Battambang, where we learned that coconuts are everywhere!

We spent the last week in Colorado and were blessed with fantastic weather which allowed us to hike in the Rocky Mountains and watch the rock climbers at Eldorado Canyon.
This week’s Polaroid is our first from South East Asia. We’ve had a crash course in all things Bangkok and Buddhism since we arrived in Thailand last week.
This week’s Polaroid features Wat Chedi Luang, one of the oldest and most impressive temples of Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.
As we are leaving South East Asia, we are thinking of all the things we’ll miss – one of them being the daily alms giving ceremony that we witnessed in many places.
