I just returned from a city break to Buffalo, a city that took me by surprise! I had no idea I’d be wowed by so much grand architecture, art, and quirky neighborhoods!
I returned to New York to beautiful fall weather and went on an upstate road trip right away to take in the fall colors before the trees dropped their leaves…
Seeing Elephant Seals on Highway 1 was a highlight of the PCH road-trip.
Driving along the Pacific Coast Highway from Los Angeles to San Francisco is filled with wildlife watching experiences, so it seemed natural to sign up for a whale-watching tour to see some of nature’s largest mammals further off the coast of California. Little did we expect to have to hold on for dear life out on the open sea, and one of us spending more time clenching on at the back of the boat feeding her breakfast to the birds.
Santa Barbara was a highlight on the globetrottergirls road trip through California.
Ah, the South. In a land where Mac’n’Cheese is considered a vegetable, we did manage to find some fantastic vegetarian options on our Great American road trip through the South this year. Caution: this post will make you hungry!
Our first visit to a plantation was an eye-opening, heart-wrenching experience this week in Charleston, South Carolina – find out why!
I left New York City once again, this time for a quick getaway to New Jersey. What was supposed to be a lazy beach day turned into a sculpture overdose at Grounds For Sculpture!
With temperatures in the high 80s it was time for a beach day! I returned to Sandy Hook for a glorious day by the ocean, only a short ferry ride from NYC.
