My last Polaroid from Seattle is coming to you from Seward Park, one of my favorite parks in the city, which was one of my favorite running routes.
On 2 November or Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), there are big kite festivals all over Guatemala. We were lucky to take part in a kite festival in Chichicastenango where the kids are kite crazy.
Cuenca is a beautiful colonial city in Ecuador, with gorgeous churches and colonial buildings. The perfect place to relax for a few days!
For the first time in seven years, I spent Christmas with my family in Germany and I had a blast experiencing German Christmas markets, baking cookies and having some quality family time!
Surprise! I am back in New York City! Only for a few short weeks, but I couldn’t be happier to be spending the fall in my favorite city of the world.
My last few days in Germany were spent with family and friends and with a short visit to Berlin – and I couldn’t leave Europe without one last proper German breakfast, of course!
My highlight of the week was Germany taking the crown – winning the soccer world cup for the fourth time! I celebrated with friends in Brooklyn.
As my time here in New York is coming to an end, I have been busy exploring parts of the city I haven’t been to yet – one of them is the Bronx, which I finally visited (twice!).
