The highlight of my week was the 4th July Holiday on Friday, which I spent with friends on a rooftop terrace in Brooklyn – the perfect place to catch Macy’s 4th July fireworks!
This week: It’s scaly, green, but still manages to be the cutest little thing in the swamp…

Cruising down Route 66 is one of America’s classics. We were lucky to experience some Route 66 nostalgia on our Northern Arizona road trip. Besides parts of the famous road, we visited Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, the Petrified Forest, Sedona, Navajo Country, Antelope Canyon, the Horseshoe Bend and the Grand Canyon.
This week I returned to my favorite place in Cambodia: the sleepy riverside town of Kampot. I just love the laid-back atmosphere and slow pace of life in rural Cambodia!

As it turned out, I had saved the best for last: El Nido, my last stop on my island hopping trip through the Philippines, turned out to be absolutely stunning.
The Philippines turned out to be much more amazing than I would have ever thought! I am beach and island hopping around the country – but I almost didn’t leave Boracay!
I’ve reached the last stop on my island & beach hopping tour around South East Asia – Thailand’s beautiful Andaman Sea islands, where I found my personal paradise.
