Surprise! I am back in New York City! Only for a few short weeks, but I couldn’t be happier to be spending the fall in my favorite city of the world.
My last few days in Germany were spent with family and friends and with a short visit to Berlin – and I couldn’t leave Europe without one last proper German breakfast, of course!
My highlight of the week was Germany taking the crown – winning the soccer world cup for the fourth time! I celebrated with friends in Brooklyn.
As my time here in New York is coming to an end, I have been busy exploring parts of the city I haven’t been to yet – one of them is the Bronx, which I finally visited (twice!).

We’ve seen warning signs for bears, sloths, even fleeing people on the road…today we saw one for a smaller, slower creature…so we went on a hunt for our favorite little reptile.
We spent a few days in Sihanoukville last week and truly felt like we were on vacation! The main reason for this was our excellent hotel, the Beach Club Resort.
