Stopping in Koh Chang for a few days was a spontaneous on-the-whim decision – and I am glad that I made the detour because the island is perfect for a mini beach vacation!
Venice was the last stop on my little tour of northern Italy, and it is safe to say that I picked the perfect place for a truly grand finale.
I loved my third visit to Tel Aviv – a couple of days filled with beach time, a street art tour, markets, and the best view of Tel Aviv!
To kick off my late summer travels, I flew down to Nashville, Tennessee, a city I’ve been wanting to visit ever since watching The Thing Called Love with Sandra Bullock …
This week I had the best layover ever: 12 hours in Istanbul! I got to catch up with my friend Katie, eat yummy Turkish food and to check out a cool neighborhood I hadn’t been to yet.
This past week was all about temple hopping as I explored the ancient cities of Sri Lanka’s cultural triangle. The most remarkable sight: The Jetavanaramaya Stupa!
I spent my last week in Cambodia on the glorious beaches in the south. Otres Beach remains my favorite one, and I enjoyed a few wonderfully lazy beach days there.
We finally ticked a huge item off our travel wishlist – the Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia. The best surprise was that the 3-day jeep tour through the Altiplano was about way more natural beauty and adventure than we had expected.
This week’s Polaroid features one of the most imposing peaks of the Andes mountains: Cerro Fitz Roy in Patagonia, Argentina. Check out this spectacular mountain!
