We returned to New York last weekend and spent our first day in town on a pizza tour – sampling some of the best slices the world’s pizza capital has to offer.

We love the adobe houses around New Mexico, and the beautiful style is such a symbol of the Southwest.

Happy Halloween, everybody! We are watching the Halloween Parade in New York City today, but our big party already happened on Saturday – check out our costumes!

After our six-month break, we finally returned to South America last week. Santiago was a quick stop before shooting up to the northern beaches to enjoy sun, sand and spring weather here in Chile.

This week’s Polaroid features one of the most memorable sunrises we have experienced on our travels so far: the sunrise over the magnificent Salt Flats in Bolivia.

This week I learned that snow is rather pretty and doesn’t (always) suck, that I can survive two days without checking my emails and that I have pretty amazing friends!

Our last stop in Uruguay was the picturesque colonial town of Colonia del Sacramento, the first settlement in Uruguay, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
