We spent 1 July, Canada’s birthday, in the country’s capital Ottawa, and had a blast watching the Canadians getting all dressed up in red & white and celebrating their nation’s biggest day.
While in Lisbon, we tested an unbelievable amount of the lip-smacking, melt-in-your-mouth Portuguese pastries for breakfast every day! **Warning! Just reading this may result in weight gain!**
Portugal’s capital city took us completely by surprise when, after booking a three-week stay on a whim, we ended up enamored by Lisbon’s allure. We would recommend exploring the region on wheels – by car, by bike and a more creative three-wheeled machine as well!
