Berlin has a magnetism for bon vivants, nomads, foreigners, artists and entrepreneurs. It’s not wonder we couldn’t resist the urge to spend the summer there and felt right at home from the start.

Fresh ocean breeze, beaches for miles and a quaint colonial center make La Serena the perfect beach escape and the gorgeous Elqui Valley even made our top five places in Chile!

Nicaragua rocks, literally. Yes, we did love Nicaragua that much, but actually we are talking about the fact that each evening, Nicaraguans around the country, gather together with friends and family, either in their front room or even outside, and rock the evening away in their rocking chairs.

Costa Rica is a paradise not only for beach lovers and wildlife enthusiasts, but also for thrill seekers, offering a number of activities for adventurous travelers. Here are my top five:

Yesterday in Philadelphia was all about the food, so today we dedicated ourselves to discovering the role that Philadelphia has played in US history. Both of us knew about the main attractions/events like the Liberty Bell and the signing of the Constitution, but we were actually very surprised to understand just how much of the American way of life is revealed in the city.

We have arrived at the final destination of our NYC2NOLA Great American Road Trip 2011 – we are in New Orleans and fell immediately in love with this great city!

It took us a while to get a feeling for the city, but it turned out Washington, DC is a pretty cool city, easiest to conquer on two wheels – grab a Cabi bike & conquer DC!
