We arrived in Buenos Aires last week and realized that to be fully accepted as ‘PorteƱas’, we needed to get our very own Mate, a hollowed-out gourd used to drink Yerba Mate.
The street signs in Madrid’s historic center are beautifully hand-painted ceramic tiles which illustrate the name of the street. We love the artistic touches like this throughout Madrid!
