We spent our last few days in the U.S. in New York City last weekend and had a blast hanging out with friends, taking a food tour, eating pizza and spotting this amazing sunset!

Last weekend, I went to a PowWow, the traditional gathering of Native American tribes – a gathering filled with traditional dances, dresses and Native American culture!

Tombstone’s Boothill Graveyard is one of the few cemeteries that will actually make you laugh – many of the tombstones, like Mr. Heath’s here in our Polaroid, include not only when, but the dirty details of how they died.

My summer in New York has come to an end, but I was lucky enough to spend my last week in an apartment right by the High Line Park, one of my favorite places in the city!

I learned so much about wine during my trip to Sonoma Wine Country – including the fact that grapevine leaves change their colors in the fall, too!

This week, I returned to some of my favorite spots in Central Park – all the way up north, disregarded by many tourists, like the North Woods and Harlem Meer.

I have to admit that I’m not feeling the spirit of Christmas quite yet, but I can’t say that it’s New York’s fault – the city is all decked out for Christmas!

The past week has been an exciting travel week: I’ve been road tripping around Southern Arizona, hiking in National Parks and delving into the Old West!
