San Francisco: Painted Ladies and a garden of shoes

Plonked down in the grass of Alamo Square on a particularly sunny day in San Francisco, tour buses of every variety pass by the most famous ladies in San Francisco: The Painted Ladies. The ubiquitous hop-on hop-off double deckers and the more private shuttles like Mr Toad Tours hover around the square, past ‘Postcard Row” as this famous row of houses is known.

We’ve been very lucky so far when it comes to events – we always seem to  be in the right place at the right time.  We happened to be in Venice Beach when MTV filmed its Ultimate Parkour Challenge, in Santa Barbara for the Waves & Wheels Classic Road Show, in Los Angeles for the 75th Anniversary of the Griffith Observatory.

And now we are in San Francisco for KFOG Radio’s 17th annual Kaboom concert & firework open-air event at Candlestick Park!
