What your festival outfit says about you

Last Updated on July 15, 2016

Festival season is upon us and with it the agonizing worry of what you’re going to pack in your rucksack for three days of mud, expensive beer and drunk dudes falling onto your tent in the middle of the night. So let’s take a look at the most common festival outfits, and what they say about those who wear them… aka perhaps you?Brighton Pride festival grounds main stage1

The high waisted shorts

Drunk by 11am and sun-burnt all over, this is the girl who you lose midway through the day and find later asleep in someone else’s tent. Her combination of high-waisted shorts, a cropped top and a tasseled bum bag means she’s unidentifiable in a crowd of other festival goers also dressed in the same way, but you’ll spot her later when her favorite artist comes on and she convinces a random guy to let her sit on his shoulders to see better.

The band tee

Whether she’s obsessed with Foals or wants to send Ellie Goulding a message, this girl wears the same t-shirt all three days of the festival and uses it as everything – from a towel to wipe up spilled drink or sweat, to a hat when the sun comes out.london primrose hill daniNot to be confused with jumpsuit girl (see below) this is the person at a festival who wears some sort of animal themed onesie all weekend, no matter whether it’s raining or scorching hot. She’ll sweat in it, sleep in it and dance in it. Whether she’s dressed as a dinosaur, a cow, a monkey or a pig she will spot other onesie wearers and rush to hug them – oh yes, there is always more than one onesie wearer. Is it you?

The jumpsuit

This girl looks good at all times, but she didn’t factor in going to the toilet in a portaloo when she chose her jumpsuit for the occasion. She looks amazing, knows how to accessorize and came prepared when it comes to footwear and waterproofs but will always hold up the queue for the bathroom.

The flower crown

This girl aspires to one day pay a visit to Coachella over in the States and is more than likely hanging out with either a group of super attractive lads with their shirts off or a group of super attractive girls – all of course wearing similar flower crowns. Embroidered Bardot dresses and Hunter wellies with matching Hunter socks are what make up the rest of her outfit as well as plenty of highlighter and bronzer for her natural make up look.brighton pride 2015

The Alexa Chung

Probably wearing dungarees, a long bob and some form of Birkenstocks despite the weather, this girl is seeking out Alexa at the festivals in the hopes of obtaining a selfie and telling her how much she loves her.dani camera

The glitter roots

Following tutorials by well known bloggers, this girl is more than likely wearing all black but has added color via the roots of her hair, throwing on enough glitter to put a unicorn to shame and that will take weeks to get out.

So, which one are you?
