Traveling with kids can be quite a demanding task, and more so when you are a single woman traveler. But when the city is the most liveable city in the world, and is full of entertainment and filled with fun, the trip becomes a walk in the park. In Melbourne, a mom doesn’t need to worry if traveling with her kids, because there is enough safety, and plenty of places that will be etched in the memories of the kids forever, and also help her have a great time as well.

Yes, people do say the Eureka High Skydeck is not for the faint-hearted, but you cannot miss it if you are in Melbourne. It definitely is an exhilarating experience to view the city from the highest viewing platform in the Southern Hemisphere, and serves as an excellent medium for anyone to take in the grandeur of Melbourne. When talking about grandeur, the IMAX Melbourne Museum is a must visit for kids! With blockbusters on a seven storeyed high screen, kids are sure to enjoy, and moms can have a great time, too.

As far as food goes, Melbourne is full of cafes, bakeries and restaurants which provide delectable offerings, and are kid-friendly, too, in areas like Northcote, Fairfield and Bundoora. When it comes to entertainment, kids and amusement parks go hand in hand. The Wonderland Fun Park is guaranteed entertainment and a great way for moms and the kids to bond. Carnival rides, bungee jumps, roller coasters and the famous Jurassic Inflatable are just a few of the many amazing activities moms and kids can indulge in.

The world under the seas has always fascinated the young and the old alike. The Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium is no exception. With the world’s only Elephant shark display, crocodile lairs and the favorite among kids, the Penguin Playground; this is an engaging and educational treat for the mother along with the kids. Along with the sea world, one just can’t afford to not take the kids to the multi-award winning Melbourne Zoo. With more than 300 species of animals to thrill the kids, mothers also have the time of their life with the special close encounters with elephants, orangutans, gorillas, platypus, etc., along with overnight stay and tours. If the city gets too hectic, the mother and kids can always spend some quality peace time driving a rental car in the beautiful exteriors of Melbourne such as the Great Ocean Road and the Great Southern touring Route, which leads to beautiful beaches, sanctuaries and diverse landscapes.
